The WDBO World Council
The World Council serves as the supreme global leadership body of the WDBO, facilitating multi-level, multi-disciplinary action. By 2026, it will comprise of over fifty leading figures from business, design, technology, and policy across the world.
Structure and Authority
Representation
The Council reflects the professional and geographic diversity of the world’s design communities and is the only multi-disciplinary body with a global mandate in the design business sphere.
Action-Oriented
The Council convenes to set the WDBO’s strategic plan, identify major areas of consensus on matters pertaining to the common good, and commission global initiatives.
